2/23/2022- Conducted a fabulous 2-hour "Pitt to the Point" workshop at Pitt Studios. KDKA General Manager Chris Cotugno and KDKA News Director Kathy Hostetter were our main guests, along with Kaitlyn Hall (an expert in copyright, trademark and AP Style), and Elizabeth Speed. KDKA offered some part-time jobs to Pitt students after this workshop! Chris Cotugno and KDKA Chief Engineer Todd Harbaugh also hired one of the Fall semester Broadcast 1 students.

What is Pitt to the Point? 

It is the Television News Practicum course where 26 students produced a weekly, 1-hour globally streamed news/magazine TV program. It re-aired every Saturday on CBSN and Pittsburgh's CW (KDKA-TV's streaming and cable platforms).
