Lisa Johnson is a Visiting Lecturer of Broadcasting in the Film and Media Studies Program. She is a multi-Emmy Award winning producer who has worked in broadcasting for over 30 years. She has produced or directed over 2,000 pre and post game shows for the Cleveland Guardians, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Columbus Blue Jackets on Fox Sports. Lisa has directed numerous college events, including men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball. She has also worked in news, corporate video, awards shows, game shows, and musical events. Often being the only woman on a sports production crew, she is very supportive of women in sports broadcasting. In the classroom, Lisa provides students with hands-on experience as they work on assignments for broadcast. She creates an open, inclusive environment where every student has the opportunity to flourish.
